The 23rd edition of the Annual Airlie Beach Triathlon has become a signature race on the North Queensland Triathlon calendar, and we are pleased to announce we have set the date for Sunday 30th July 2023.

We’ve chosen the perfect time of year to hold our event in the beautiful Whitsundays as we do not have a Winter up here! The mean temperature in July is expected to be around 24 degrees, perfect for athletes and spectators alike. Daily flights are via Proserpine or Hamilton Island Airport’s and in addition great time to add a holiday and explore the Whitsundays.

With an enticer, a sprint and the flagship standard (Olympic), there is a race option for everyone including the first timer, age grouper, seasoned professional and teams and there will be prize money for podium finishers for the Olympic distance.

In addition to the racing, there is plenty of fun for the family with kids races, fireworks and the Sports and lifestyle expo.
